The range will be closed all day on Sunday, October 23 for a private CCW class. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Construction of the canopy over the concrete shooting line will begin September 7, 2016. During the construction members may need to wait or return another time to shoot at the range. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we continue to make improvements to the range.
Update September 26, 2016:
Construction of the canopy is still ongoing. It will be finished in early October.
The range hours have been lengthened at the May board meeting. Effective immediately, the new range hours are:
Monday-Saturday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Sunday 1:00 PM-5:00 PM
Monday-Saturday 8:00 AM-8:00 PM
Sunday 1:00 PM-8:00 PM
The range will be closed once a month on a Sunday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM to allow for 4H to use the range. The dates for 2016 are as follows:
April 3 May 1 June 5 July 10 August 7 -Rescheduled for August 14- September 11 October 2– Rescheduled For October 9 –
ONSR board meetings are now being held in the clubhouse at the Otto Newlin Shooting Range. Meetings will still be held at the second Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM. Meetings are open to the public.

We are proud to announce that as of today, October 1 2014, the Otto Newlin Shooting Range is now open for use by members who have completed the mandatory one time safety class and received their range pass. Please note that if you have not completed the one time safety class and received your range pass, then you are not permitted to use the range until you do so.
